Youth Mentor Hunts

-Typically held in December of every year, the Youth Mentor Hunt is a great time for youth ages 11-15 to experience many aspects of the outdoors free of charge (sponsored by the chapter).
-The hunt consists of several different stations such as; trapping, archery, trap shooting, live hunt, and hunting with dogs.
-Divided into several groups, the youth will travel from station to station starting at 8am to noon, followed by a lunch.
Each youth is provided with;
-A Nemaha Valley Youth Mentor Hunt blaze orange hunting vest
-A Nemaha Valley Youth Mentor Hunt hat
*Shotguns are provided by the chapter for the day of the hunt, personal shotguns are permitted (20ga).
